Auschwitz Camping

I went to Poland this summer, so I would like to state what came to mind when I visited Auschwitz camping.
During the WWⅡ, most of the Jewish, homosexuality, and political prisoners were caught into this camping. One of the document says that more than four million people were killed in this camping. Some of them were killed by the gas, others were because of human experimentation, and the others were just shooting. It seems that there were other ways of killing ways. For me, what was the most shocking exhibition was the hair which were ripped off by Germany. The amount of the hair was around two tons altogether. Such hair was very precious those days. After seeing this fact, I could say nothing and I got a case of the goose bumps even though the middle of the summer vacation. In addition, I noticed that some girls were crying behind the building of the camping. A thrill of horror really shook my whole frame.
According to the workers in this camping, the number of Japanese who visit is about 7000 people every year, which is not so large amount of number when it is compared with that of other countries. I would never forget this experience in the future. You may already know, but the alphabet of "B" is upside down. According to the workers, it is the resistance by the prisoner.

Today, I would like to talk about my trip in Europe this summer and something about Greece. I took this picture this August and I also saw this place on TV yesterday. As most of us have know, Greece has a financial problem related to the government. In August, I had never thought that I would see this place in Japan. I saw yesterday on TV that quite a lot of people complained about the national financial problem. In addition, according to the TV program, more than 20% live in Greece are official workers, which is higher than the percentage of Japanese (Japanese official workers are only 5% of all Japanese or so.) Therefore, that is, once most of such official workers have complaint against the government, it can cause the disturbance including all over Greece. Although other countries mention that they will aid the Greece financial problem, it might be hard to settle down it quickly. Of course, we also face difficulties because of the high yen rate against dollar even in Japan, especially those who work for the company related to export industry. We need to pay attention to the new Prime Minister, Noda Yoshihiko.

Volunteer in Serbia

I have taken participated in International Volunteer Activity in Serbia from August 7th to 17th, and after this activity, I traveled six countries in Europe. I would like to talk about volunteer activity in Serbia today.
I was a member of this volunteer and I was an only person from Asia. I had a lot of difficulties the very first day of this volunteer because they speak only English, not Japanese. Therefore, I thought that I was afraid of communicating with other members in English; however, whenever I speak to them in English, they always carefully listened to me, which enabled us to communicate in English. I was really relieved and felt happy because of their kindness. Without their help, I would not have made myself understood in English. According to volunteer, we made a slope for those who need special need in the camping area. This picture is the scene when we did volunteer. Although a work made us a little bit tired every day, we really enjoyed ourselves every day. I will never forget this precious experience, and hope to connect with each members. If I have another opportunity to do such activity, I definitely take part in.

lunch with Mathieu

On the day of 3rd in October. I went to go to lunch with Mathieu, who is a studying abroad student from the U.S. He has come to Japan on 28th in September and since I became a tutor of him, I have taught a lot in Morioka, such as stores, general shops, and some eating places. This time, I told him the way to one of the special lunch restaurant. I had never visited this restaurant before, however, as this restaurant was reported in a magazine, we went to this restaurant for the first time. He ordered deep-fried chicken with rice and salad, and I ordered a large bowl of rice topped with fresh seafood. It was so scrumptious that we ate lunch within ten minutes or so. In addition, the price of  both menu was only 500 yen. It was so good price, isn't it? I will go to this restaurant again near the future. According to Mathieu, he also enjoyed lunch with such a low price, and hoped to go there again. Because he likes Chinese noodles in soup, I have to tell him different restaurant which offers us good food with low price. Moreover, I must appreciate him because of souvenir he has brought from his country. It was, of course, scrumptious.
